It’s hard to believe the Willo Historic District tour, or Willo Tour as it is call by locals, is just about a week away. Each year the Willo Historic neighborhood puts on a great party with home tours, a street fair and lots more. 2011 marks the 23rd anniversary of the historic Willo tour. WOW!!!

The 2011 Willo Tour looks to be a great one. We expect about a dozen historic homes will have their doors open to the public. Come see one of the charming Tudor revivals, Monterrey revivals, bungalow or other homes from the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s.

In addition to the Willo historic home tour, visitors can enjoy food, art and more from the 100 or so vendors who also participate in this annual event. Among the vendors you will find booths dedicated to the various historic districts and historic preservation of both residential and commercial buildings.

Willo Tour Date: February 13, 2011 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Location: Willo is located south of Thomas Ave, north of McDowell and between 1st and 7th Avenues.

Tickets for the Willo Tour: Tickets are available online or at the event. The map to the right shows you where you can get them on Sunday, February 13th.
