Willo Historic Home Tour 2016 Info, Tickets, Parking and More

The first historic home tour of 2016 is about to begin and it’s the big one… Willo Historic Home Tour 2016. Each year the homeowners in the Willo Historic District open the neighborhood and about a dozen homes to the public. It is an amazing event with tasty food, great music, a stellar street fair featuring local vendors that winds down Monte Vista and Holly Roads, and a chance to look inside some amazing homes from Phoenix’ early days.

How the Willo Historic Home Tour 2106 Works.

The 2016 Willo Home Tour will be held on Sunday, February 14th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Visitors can park at the parking garage located at 1st Avenue and Holly. You are also welcome to park in any available location within the neighborhood. Trolleys will be continually running throughout the day and you are welcome to hop on and off at your convenience.  Or if you live in the area you can simply walk/bike the tour.

The Google Map has markers for the location of parking, tickets, street fair, and food.

When you get your ticket to the Willo Historic Home Tour 2016 they will give you a wrist band and tour map. It is a self-guided tour so walking to the homes is part of the deal. The tour map will give you info about each home along with its location.

Besides touring the homes there is a Street Fair with over 100 vendors providing food, arts & crafts, area services and lot more. Most of the food will be north and south of Monte Vista and 3rd Ave while the other vendors will be lined up and down the streets on Monte Vista and Holly Street between 3rd and 5th avenues.

Music is always a fun part of the Willo Historic Home Tour. You’ll find bands playing all afternoon near the park at 3rd Ave and Monte Vista. They have quite a line up this year with a great variety of music.

Willo Historic Home Tour 2016 – The Details

Date: Sunday February 14, 2016

• Time: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Tickets: Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the event. If you buy in advance the price is $18.00 plus a small handling fee or $20.00 the day of the tour. The ticket booth is located near the corner of 3rd Avenue and Monte Vista. Buy your online tickets here.
• Photography: You can take photos of the event and outside the homes. Please do not take pictures inside the homes though.
• Comfort: Make sure you have good walking shoes, sunscreen and water. There will be a Trolley taking people to various stops as well.
