People who live, work and play in downtown Phoenix do love their coffee and there are a lot of choices for them. We decided to stop by the some of the downtown Phoenix coffee houses along the light rail. Since we are local first members and think it is important to shop locally, we omitted the Starbucks and focused on locally owned and operated downtown Phoenix coffee places.
Our tour included:
Lola Coffee: 4700 N. Central Avenue
Lux Coffee Bar: 4404 N. Central Avenue
Giant Coffee: 1437 N. 1st St (1st and McDowell)
Fair Trade: 424 N. Central (Civic Park/AE England Building – Courtyard Level)
Cartel Coffee Lab: 1 N. First Street
Below is a video we created from pictures and footage we took along the way with a little bit of commentary. We hope you enjoy a look at coffee houses along the light rail in downtown Phoenix.
We recognize we did not include all the possibilities. 6 cups of strong coffee and a few lattes put me over my daily caffeine limit and brain damage was eminent. However, the comment section on our site is a wonderful place for you to either add your own thoughts about these six place or tout another coffee house of you choosing.
