2012 is a big year for the Coronado Historic Home Tour. The Coronado Neighborhood Association (GCNA) is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Coronado Historic home and garden tour in downtown Phoenix, AZ.
We hear tell that the 2012 Coronado Historic Home Tour will be a blend of old and new, tradition and innovation; What was, what is and what will be. As in past years there will be some very sweet antique cars lining the streets, lots or vendors and some new activities like Yoga and training for Fido the dog.
The Coronado Home Tour, being held on March 4th, 2012 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, will center around Coronado Park in the southern end of the historic district. Event planners are still choosing the homes and gardens that will be on display. No doubt there will be many sweet examples of the bungalow, and revival style homes that have made this region noteworthy and popular.
Last year’s event brought a record number of people to the Coronado Historic District for a look at Phoenix’s past. The Urban Team was there to record the event for posterity and posted a YouTube video.
We hope to see you at the Silver Anniversary 2012 Coronado Historic Home Tour. The Urban Team will be there and happy to answer questions about historic homes, the history of the district and more.
