If you’ve got little ones to entertain, The Arizona Science Center is a phenomenal place to go. Not only do they have exciting interactive exhibits to both educate and wow your kiddos, but they have a wonder of science for all ages to explore. They recently renovated and offer a variety of permanent science experiences, like “All About Me” which explains how the body functions in a really fun way. They also have special exhibitions like “The Art & Science of Arachnids” which is only there until January of 2022! No matter what you choose, you are bound to have a blast.
Great Eats
We don’t blame you if you’re hangry after a fun-filled day in Downtown Phoenix. Luckily, the city is filled with outstanding spots to stop into – from a drink and appetizer to a full-blown date night out. Start your morning off right with a trip to one of our city’s most famous breakfast hotspots: Matt’s Big Breakfast. Then, we recommend heading to local gem Pomo Pizzeria for a pizza lunch you’ll want to come back for. After that, The Vig on Fillmore is the perfect place to pop into for an afternoon drink while reveling in our unbeatable Phoenix weather. If you are looking to see what our community really is all about, stop by Lux Central. Lux is an urban community within the larger one and rightfully beloved by so many locals. They feature local artists, play a great music mix throughout the day and have a ton of space for you to unwind. Another well-known Downtown Phoenix icon we must mention is Cartel Coffee Lab! They do their own on-site roasting and you can taste the love in each sip. From cold brew to the lattes, they’ve got something for everyone.
