Check Please Comes To CityScape Downtown Phoenix

CheckPleaseLogoWhat do you get when you put Chris Bianco, James Porter, Nobuo Fukudo, Eddie Matney and Christopher Gross together? At the very least, GREAT FOOD and probably a lot more. Foodies unite and go to City Scape on April 28th for the Check, Please! Arizona food festival.

Kelly McCullough, GM at Channel 8 (the PBS host station for Check Please! Arizona) says the show is gaining so much popularity a live event just made sense. There will be food demonstrations from several top Valley chefs, amazing grazing opportunities, beer crafting discussions and people watching galore.

Among the 30 or so restaurants participating in the event are:

  • America’s Taco Shop
  • Coup Des Tartes
  • Eddie’s House
  • Four Peaks Brewery
  • Gavana Cate
  • Lon’s at the Hermosa
  • Petite Maison
  • Phoenix City Grill
  • Shugrue’s Hillside Grill
  • Tarbell’s
  • … lots more too.

However, it is cheaper than the average baseball game, far less expensive than any concert these days and you get so much… awesome food and drink, great panel discussions with top Valley chefs, lots of other education opportunities, and a chance to help our PBS station. WOW!
