Downtown Phoenix Holiday Events

CitySkate in downtown Phoenix

Say it with us, “The best way to spread cheer is by singing loud for all to hear.”  Whether your crew enjoys singing Christmas carols, visiting Santa and a winter wonderland, or ice skating on a festive rink, Downtown Phoenix has all the holiday cheer you could ever need!

Miracle at Blue Hound Kitchen and Cocktails

Through December 25, head downtown to Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails for the holiday-scape of your elf dreams. They are the only Phoenix area bar to host the Miracle Pop-Up, with over the top decorations, a special menu and festive cocktails, of course!

CitySkate Holiday Ice Rink

Skate your way through Central Ave in Downtown Phoenix now through January 5th. With the city streets turned into a holiday ice rink, you will almost forget you are in the middle of a bustling city. Snag a selfie with Santa, sip hot cocoa, and celebrate the season Phoenix Style! This is fun for children and adults of all ages, so grab the kids and grandparents for what has become a celebrated tradition for many Phoenicians.

Phoestivus Market

This annual market is back for its 10th year downtown! Head down to the Phoenix Public Market on December 12th and 19th for an outdoor market of German Christmas dreams. Grab a picture with hipster Santa, shop for gifts from 150 local vendors, and experience the traditional Airing of Grievances and Pheats of Strength. Pro tip: come hungry! Between samples, local vendors, and food trucks, this is a great place to eat out this holiday season.

Lights of the World

Head down to the Arizona State Fairgrounds for the continents’ largest light display! This festival of lights is returning for the second year and features traditions from cultures all around the world, as well as global cuisines.

Where will you be taking the family for a dose of holiday cheer?
